About Shannon

Shannon Soper has an exciting personality, and loves people. She also loves to cook and brings with her an Italian heritage rich in culture, entertaining and good eating. Shannon brought the idea of offering in-store sit down cooking classes to Pat & Jerry Mountin at the Mayville Piggly Wiggly and they literally “ate the idea right up”. “This is something our customers really enjoy and at the same time gain some useful knowledge to take to their own kitchens.” said Pat. Many of our younger customers are so pressed for time holding down two jobs and raising a family that they simply don’t have time to seek out new meal planning ideas.”, said Jerry. “We have had some great feedback and appreciation from our customers regarding Shannon’s cooking shows.”
